One lucky dude !!!!
Posted: Thursday, June 21, 2007 by shibs inIts a mistry that Rajinikath, turn's out to be one of the most paid actors in the Indian film industry though he lacks the acting skills of Mr. Bachan or the charisha of SRK. I still remember going for one his movie along with one my die hard fan of Rajiniganth. I persume 'Chandramukhi' was the movie. The guy managed to get ticket's for the second week. Which was infact a great achievement according to him. It was house packed in most of the theatres in the first week.
Now on his venture with ar rahman and the shankar ans teamed up to make the entire industry postpond all there releases. If you are a regular on Orkut, you would know that even vague communities run a thread on Sivaji. Offline things are no different. And the hype and hoopla is all because of that man called Sivaji Rao Geakwad. He goes by the alias of Rajnikant. Ask Rasheed why he is so interested in the updates on Sivaji at your own peril. The 54-year old, who makes house calls buying old newspapers in Mylapore has been a fan of Rajnikant for years.
Rajinikanth now coming out in the public and saying that Sivaji would cross all expectations, the movie’s hype has touched record levels.Rajinikanth who went to Tirupathi just before the launch of Sivaji, visited Lord Balaji again for darshan after the shooting of the movie was completed. A.R. Rehman who has scored music for the movie, claims that title song for Sivaji will stand out as one his best. With all this buildup and high expectations but i personally Rahamn coulod have done better, as he as the calibre to.
Some time's i believe certain people are just gifted for they have not to taste the blood of failure !!!!
Reading these kind of posts reminds me of just how technology truly is ubiquitous in this day and age, and I am 99% certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further develops, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day.
